Larger than any wooden spoon I have ever owned before. Very solid and I put it through the dishwasher all the time. Sometimes the handle on this spoon feels a little too thick, like I'm using a log to stir the pot of noodles. It's not long enough for a stock pot, but it would be very good if you are stirring something with a lot of large chunks.

Surprised at the quality of this spoon. It’s very sturdy. The handle is very thick. This is the kind of spoon you wouldn’t want your mother to spank you with when you were a child because there is no chance this spoon will break. Highly recommended.
